Muhammad Shafique

Born in 1981 into an artistic family from Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Muhammad Shafique's passion for art was cultivated early on with the support of the Tharparkar District Cultural Association, now known as The Art Council of Mirpurkhas. Under the mentorship of the late Lal Muhammad, Shafique honed his painting skills and began showcasing his work across Pakistan. With over 25 group exhibitions and one solo show in Karachi, Shafique's art has gained recognition, notably through his multiple features at the Arts Council of Pakistan. He was also awarded first prize for woodwork at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Art Exhibition.
