Maqbool Ahmed

Maqbool Ahmed is a Pakistani painter born in Quetta in 1958. He studied at the National College of Arts in Lahore, graduating in 1984. Ahmed is deeply passionate about addressing women's lack of voice and suppression in Pakistani society, dedicating his life’s work to highlighting these issues through his art.

His trademark style features soft, sensuous female forms, along with themes of transparency, 3D effects, and geometric dreamscapes. Ahmed has cultivated a unique and distinct style that sets him apart from his contemporaries.
