Amira Farooq

Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, Amira graduated from the National College of Arts with a degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Printmaking, in 2004. Since 2006, she has been working as a full-time visual artist. Amira has held several solo exhibitions at some of the most prestigious art galleries in Lahore and Karachi, including Nairang, The Taseer Gallery, The New Gallery, Zulfi’s Art Gallery, Color Gallery, Studio Seven, and The Management House. She has also participated in various group exhibitions, notably the 2018 Lahore Biennale and Emotional Responses, a group show at The Blackcat Gallery in Melbourne, Australia. Amira continues to pursue more solo exhibitions both within Pakistan and internationally, striving to expand her artistic reach.
